Markets in Bozen / Bolzano
The fruit market in the city center is open from Monday to Saturday (8:00 a.m. to approx. 7:00 p.m.). Fridays: Farmer's Market in front of the town hall (Rathausplatz) and at the Don Bosco Platz / Plaza.
Saturdays: Weekly market at the Sieges Platz / Plaza.
Saturdays: Farmer's Market at the Matteotti Platz / Plaza (featuring organic produce).
The cityscape of Meran / Merano is likewise dominated by the great number of international stores as well as traditional shops and family businesses. The main business street – i.e., the Laubengasse – is a popular meeting place for shopping fans. Besides textile shops, food stores, and boutiques, you'll find cafes and restaurants.
